The application procedure for the Patent.Scheck, which can be accessed by this link at the eCall at the website of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), requires a technical description, as well as an explanation of the economic potential of the invention-to-be-patented.

The funding of the Patent.Scheck covers our assistance for drafting the technical description, but not the application procedure.

In general, we recommend that the technical description includes the following points:

• a description of the technical field related tot he invention

• the current state of technology hitherto existing and its disadvantages

• an explanation of the invention, particularly of those features, who overcome the disadvantages of the state of technology
